Gabby Agbonlahor<\/strong> has claimed Bayern Munich forward Leroy Sane could be the “perfect<\/strong> replacement” for Liverpool star man Mohamed Salah.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider<\/strong>, insisted the 27-year-old German could be “one of the world’s best” under the right coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Football Insider <\/strong>revealed back on 14 October that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to be a \u201chuge admirer\u201d of countryman Sane and has identified him as a top-tier potential replacement for Salah.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources have also told Football Insider <\/strong>(27 October) that Salah is increasingly likely to quit next year with Saudi Pro League officials working behind the scenes on a deal for the Liverpool star man.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al-Ittihad wanted to sign the Egyptian in the most recent summer window and are ready to try again in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sane<\/a> has started the 2023-24 campaign in dazzling form, notching nine goals and three assists in 14 games for Bayern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He won the Premier League twice with Man City during his spell in England – which ran between 2016 and 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agbonlahor told Football Insider<\/strong>\u2019s Ewan Kingsbury: \u201cI watched Sane for Bayern against Galatasaray, and he\u2019s still got that frightening pace.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe\u2019s one of those players who could be one of the world\u2019s best if he has the right coach, and a coach he listens to.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
