Leeds United fans have had their say on the right-back situation at the club as summer signing Djed Spence nears a return to fitness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie Shackleton started at right-back as Daniel Farke’s side ran out 4-1 winners against Huddersfield Town on Saturday (28 October).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youngster Archie Gray has also deputised in defence, but it was Luke Ayling who replaced Shackleton with 30 minutes remaining of the clash against The Terriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All three players have been filling in during the injury absence of Spence, who suffered a knee ligament injury in training last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He had played just nine minutes in a substitute appearance against Sheffield Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club confirmed<\/a> the on-loan Tottenham ace will miss eight weeks of action, meaning he is closing in on a return to the side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leeds sit third in the Championship and won four of their five games in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One fan insisted Spence must be in the side to face Leicester on Friday (3 November) – or Leeds face getting “smashed” by the league leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
