Gabby Agbonlahor<\/strong> has insisted Liverpool are missing a “top midfielder” and should go all out to land Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider<\/strong>, suggested summer signing Alexis Mac Allister is yet to “perform” in a Reds shirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Football Insider <\/strong>revealed last week (21 October) that Liverpool are doing their due diligence on a potential move for Bayern Munich star Musiala.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is believed Jurgen Klopp’s side are sounding out a possible swoop for the 20-year-old as speculation ramps up about his contract situation in Bavaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musiala<\/a> has notched two goals and three assists in 10 appearances this season and scored as Bayern ran out 3-1 winners over Galatasaray in Champions League action on Tuesday (24 October).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is under contract at the Bundesliga champions until June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked if Liverpool should go all out to get Musiala, Agbonlahor told Football Insider<\/strong>\u2019s Ewan Kingsbury: \u201c100%.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf I look at Liverpool and their team – Szoboszlai and Mac Allister. Mac Allister hasn\u2019t performed yet, for me.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think they\u2019re missing one more top midfielder in there.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMusiala is the kind of player that could win the Ballon d\u2019Or, but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s possible at Bayern Munich.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGermany aren\u2019t great at the moment either, so for him to win it – does he have to be in the Premier League or in La Liga with Real Madrid?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s something the player would love to do. He knows England well.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut every club in the world will be looking at him. When he\u2019s on the pitch, he makes things happen – we saw that against Man United.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
