Gabby Agbonlahor<\/strong> has claimed Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the “guaranteed starter” for Man United at right-back and a new contract is a “no-brainer”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider<\/strong>, insisted he “hasn’t seen any winger get past” the 25-year-old – who has been lauded for his one-on-one defending skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wan-Bissaka has already played five times in the new season but has been a big miss since suffering a hamstring injury during the 3-1 defeat against Brighton on 16 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Premier Injuries<\/a>, the right-back could return to action on 4 November against Fulham. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Football Insider <\/strong>revealed last week (9 October) that Man United are in talks with right-back Wan-Bissaka over a new contract.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His current deal at Old Trafford only runs until the end of the current season, meaning these negotiations are crucial for the defender’s future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agbonlahor told Football Insider<\/strong>\u2019s Ewan Kingsbury: \u201cI think he is the guaranteed starter for Man United at right-back.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got a lot better on the ball recently. Everyone said he couldn\u2019t do it, but he\u2019s clearly been working hard on it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd let\u2019s be honest, Man United can\u2019t stop leaking goals.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWan-Bissaka on the pitch gives them a better chance of doing that.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
