Gabby Agbonlahor<\/strong> has insisted Tottenham will have a “frightening” midfield when Rodrigo Bentancur makes his much-anticipated return from injury.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider<\/strong>, claimed the 26-year-old “has got it all” after his stellar pre-injury performances for Spurs last term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Football Insider <\/strong>revealed on Thursday (12 October) that Bentancur is closing in on a return for Tottenham and could be back by the middle of November.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The midfielder has been out of action since rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee back in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He made 26 appearances under ex-boss Antonio Conte prior to the injury last season and netted six goals, also offering up two assists in those outings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bentancur<\/a> joined Tottenham on a permanent basis from Juventus in January 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spurs sit top of the Premier League after eight games and are yet to be defeated in the league under Postecoglou’s stewardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agbonlahor told Football Insider<\/strong>\u2019s Ewan Kingsbury: \u201cIt\u2019s massive news.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf anything it\u2019s just a different option for Postecoglou. But I was watching this guy last season and thinking: \u2018This guy has got it all\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe can play anywhere in the midfield. He can play deep, he can go further forward.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSome of the runs he was making in behind were great – and he\u2019s quick as well.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPostecoglou has been playing Sarr in there, and I think he\u2019ll come in for Sarr.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
