Newcastle United would pocket over \u00a331million if they are able to qualify from their Champions League group stage, Football Insider <\/strong>can reveal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uefa\u2019s distribution also rewards teams for each round they reach and Newcastle will earn \u00a38.3million if they are able to finish in the top two positions and reach the round of 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return of European nights at St James\u2019 Park has also resulted in sell-out crowds, and the stadium\u2019s 52,000 capacity is set to bring in \u00a32million per match – \u00a36million for all three home games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, Football Insider <\/strong>analysis calculates that Newcastle\u2019s accounts will be boosted by payments of \u00a331million if they hold onto their top spot and reach the knockout stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
