Everton are in advanced talks with Castore over a kit manufacturer deal, sources have told Football Insider.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toffees are currently partnered with Hummel, but their agreement with the Danish sports brand is set to expire at the end of the 2023\/24 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hummel\u2019s current deal with Everton is understood to be worth \u00a38million per season – a higher fee than Castore currently pays any of their client clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Castore are currently facing criticism from Aston Villa after players raised concerns about the quality of their 2023\/24 kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players from both the men’s and women’s teams complained that the new kits weighed them down because of their \u2018wet-look\u2019 design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As revealed by Football Insider <\/strong>on Thursday (28 September), <\/strong>Villa are now searching for an exit route in their \u00a34million Castore agreement<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Castore have also faced criticism from other client clubs including Rangers, Wolves and Newcastle United.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Magpies have cut ties with Castore by triggering an early exit clause and have since struck an agreement with Adidas for the 2024\/25 campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But despite a number of clubs dropping their partnership with the UK brand, Everton are in advanced talks to become the latest Premier League side in Castore\u2019s portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An agreement with Castore could be the first commercial deal struck by 777 Partners if their takeover of the Merseyside club is approved by the Premier League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
