Wolves and Bournemouth are in talks to sign Southampton striker Che Adams before the deadline,\u00a0sources have told Football Insider.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wolves are in the market for a new striker to bolster their squad, while Bournemouth are preparing a bid for long-term target Adams if they can move on Kieffer Moore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The battle for Adams’ signatures could go down to the wire, with interest remaining from Everton and Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 29 August, Football Insider<\/strong> revealed that Crystal Palace were contemplating a move for the Scotland international as they continue their search to replace former talisman Wilfried Zaha who joined Galatasaray following the expiration of his contract.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everton had also been keen on a deal for Adams but instead turned their attention to getting a deal for Udinese striker Beto over the line in an effort to solve their goalscoring woes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adams is now set to be the subject of heightened interest as the transfer deadlines approaches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 27-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at St Mary’s after joining from Birmingham City back in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, Adams has made 149 appearances for the Saints across all competitions, netting 34 goals and offering up 15 assists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season the striker has already netted three goals in three Championship appearances for the newly relegated side helping them to fourth in the league table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the striker was left out of last weekend’s game against QPR (26 August), with boss Russell Martin claiming<\/a> the forward wasn’t in the right place to take the field given the speculation surrounding his future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
