Luton Town striker Admiral Muskwe<\/a> is set to join Exeter City on loan, sources have told Football Insider<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muskwe, 25, has fallen well down the pecking order at newly-promoted Premier League outfit Luton and they are happy to loan him out for the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A number of EFL clubs have shown an interest in Muskwe, but Exeter are set to win the race for the Zimbabwe international after agreeing the terms of a deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The League One side have been in the market for a new striker to replace Sam Nombe after he departed for Rotherham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Aitchison and Nombe have taken it in turns leading the line for Exeter at the start of the season, so the latter’s exit has left a hole in Gary Caldwell’s side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muskwe has not made a single appearance for Luton at the start of the 2023\/24 season, with manager Rob Edwards preferring the striker duo of Elijah Adebayo and Carlton Morris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muskwe joined Luton in 2021 from Leicester City, but he has struggled to nail down a regular spot in the lineup since completing the move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He spent the first half of the 2022\/23 season on loan at Fleetwood Town, where he scored three times in 12 league appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muskwe has only featured 26 times in all competitions for Luton and has scored just twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He could make his Exeter debut this Saturday when their League One campaign resumes with a trip to Burton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
