Full story: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RjVOgY4eZ6\">https:\/\/t.co\/RjVOgY4eZ6<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Sam Wallace (@SamWallaceTel) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SamWallaceTel\/status\/1519669353305849857?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 28, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is claimed he will become the new manager of the select group one referees (SG1) who take charge of top-flight matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Premier League <a href=\"https:\/\/www.premierleague.com\/news\/2596494\">confirmed<\/a> today (3 May) that one of Moss&#8217; final acts as an official will be to referee Liverpool&#8217;s trip to Villa Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m surprised that Jon Moss will now become the manager of the select group of referees,\u201d <\/em>Hackett told <strong>Football Insider<\/strong> correspondent Connor Whitley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe reason I say that is I\u2019ve been critical of his fitness, movement and decision making. This is a referee who has not been a Fifa referee so he\u2019s not refereed at the very highest level.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe guy who should be in charge of the referees should be someone who is actually officiated at the very highest level and reached the top.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe PGMOL needs an absolute root and branch review.
