{"id":174353,"date":"2017-12-11T06:40:46","date_gmt":"2017-12-11T06:40:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.footballinsider247.com\/?p=174353"},"modified":"2017-12-11T06:40:46","modified_gmt":"2017-12-11T06:40:46","slug":"174353-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.footballinsider247.com\/174353-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Sky reporter involved in fiery exchange with Klopp gives two-word verdict on Liverpool manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sky Sports reporter Patrick Davison has taken to social media to explain the fiery post-match interview with Jurgen Klopp after the draw with Everton, saying the Liverpool manager was &#8220;angry and upset&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The two were involved in a heated exchange after the 1-1 Premier League draw at Anfield, which involved a controversial penalty decision.<\/p>\n<p>Everton were awarded a spot-kick after a clumsy challenge by Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren on Toffees forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin.<\/p>\n<p>Referee Craig Pawson&#8217;s showed little hesitation in awarding the penalty, which was scored by Wayne Rooney, as the Toffees took an unlikely share of the points.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool boss Klopp was furious with the decision after his side had dominated the game, but Sky Sports reporter Davison held a different view.<\/p>\n<p>The broadcaster admitted that he thought it was a penalty when questioned by Klopp but insisted his opinion does not matter.<\/p>\n<p>The Sky Sports reporter delivered his verdict on the interview via Twitter and insisted he had no problem with the Liverpool boss.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Angry and upset rather than rude and unpleasant I thought&#8221;, he said about Klopp. &#8220;Absolutely no problem with that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Thanks for messages (most of them) about Klopp interview.
